Artists for Kids (AFK) invites the community to the opening of the exhibition, Endless Summer, on Saturday, April 15, 2 to 4 p.m.
Endless Summer is an exhibition and series of public programs that features the collaborative works of artists Katie Kozak and Lucien Durey, which contemplate lineage, ancestry, queerness, sustainability, and healing within a context of reimagining place-based relations that serve the social and cultural landscape of their shared communities.
"Artists for Kids and the Gordon Smith Gallery have brought connection and care to our community through the arts for over three decades," said Allison Kerr, District Principal of Arts Education and Director, Artists for Kids. "Kozak and Durey's collaborative exhibit Endless Summer intentionally invites each of us to consider how we care for one another and how we show gratitude toward the places where we spend time."
Endless Summer runs from April 15 to June 17, 2023, at the Gordon Smith Gallery.
