Parkland School Division Superintendent of Schools, Shauna Boyce, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lesley Cameron as Principal of Millgrove School beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. Ms. Cameron has served students as an Assistant Principal at Copperhaven School for the past 3 years. She will be entering her 8th year in school-based administration and takes over the position from Linda Madge-Arkinstall who will be the new PSD Division Principal, Literacy & Lifelong Learning.

Lesley Cameron, Principal, Millgrove School (Grades K-4)
Lesley Cameron joins the team at Millgrove School and will assume her first role as a Principal in Parkland School Division. She has been an Assistant Principal for the past 7 school years split between Copperhaven School and École Broxton Park School. Her early days in teaching involved Early Literacy and various roles in the Kindergarten to Grade 6 setting with teaching stops in Entwistle School and Forest Green School before starting her journey in school administration as an Assistant Principal and Inclusive Education Lead at Broxton Park. Lesley taught in the Golden Hills School Division before joining Parkland School Division.
Lesley earned her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta in 2003 with an Elementary Generalist major and an Educational Psychology minor. She completed her Masters of Education in Leadership at the University of Calgary in 2019 with the Parkland School Division Cohort.

I have learned and gained so much throughout my time at Copperhaven. I am very excited to be joining the staff at Millgrove School. I am looking forward to continuing the important work underway with our young learners alongside another amazing staff and school community."
