The Surrey Board of Education has approved the calendars for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.
Approved at the Jan. 17 public board meeting, the calendars set out the non-instructional days, statutory holidays and break times for the next two school years.
For the 2024-2025 school year, non-instructional/pro-development days are:
- Sept. 27, 2024
- Oct. 25, 2024
- Nov. 8, 2024
- Feb. 21, 2025
- May 2, 2025
- May 26, 2025
Winter break will be Dec. 23, 2024 to Jan. 3, 2025. Spring break will be March 17-21, 2025, which is followed by a week of 'School Closure Days' for March 24-28, 2025.
For the 2025-2026 school year, non-instructional/professional development days are:
- Sept. 29, 2025
- Oct. 24, 2025
- Nov. 10, 2025
- Feb. 20, 2026
- May 1, 2026
- May 25, 2026
Winter break will be Dec, 22, 2025 to Jan. 2, 2026. Spring break will be March 16-20, 2026, which is followed by a week of 'School Closure Days' for March 23-27, 2026.
