Fort McMurray Public School Division (FMPSD) is proud to announce that Rayan Ahmad, a Grade 9 Fort McMurray Islamic School student, has successfully completed the rigorous Google IT Support Professional Certificate course, becoming the youngest student in FMPSD to achieve this distinction.
Rayan's academic pursuits have been nothing short of exceptional. Previously a student at both the Tech Academy and Space Academy programs within FMPSD, he has consistently demonstrated his passion and aptitude for technology and innovation.
The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is a rigorous five-course program developed by Google, aimed at equipping students with the foundational skills needed for entry-level roles in IT support. This certification encompasses a wide range of competencies, including:
- Troubleshooting and Customer Service

- System Administration
- Security
Rayan's enrollment in this certification underscores his commitment to developing these critical skills early in his educational career.
