Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce Rochelle Neville has been appointed Director of Inclusive Education for Lethbridge School Division, commencing March of 2025.
Highly regarded for her depth of knowledge and expertise in pedagogy, Neville has a rich background in supporting and enhancing inclusive school environments and has demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive learning throughout her career. She believes in developing collaborative and respectful relationships with families and providing genuine and authentic opportunities for participation in their child's educational programming.
"I appreciate the collaborative approach to student support that has guided my work alongside school teams, Division staff, parents and community partners," said Neville. "I look forward to furthering this work in the role of Director of Inclusive Education."
She focuses on building trust and respect with students and staff, encourages building on individual strengths and promotes shared leadership opportunities. Humble and unassuming, Neville is a reflective practitioner dedicated to continual growth in her practice.
She has previous leadership experience as Inclusive Education Coordinator, Program Unit Funding Consultant, vice-principal of Lakeview Elementary School and vice-principal of Park Meadows Elementary School, where she demonstrated a strong ability to relate to students, families and staff. Currently, she is in the position of Early Learning Coordinator with Lethbridge School Division.
"I am honoured to step into this role, serving our students, staff, community and Division," said Neville. "I am thrilled for the opportunity to work together in addressing the needs of all students, removing barriers and creating pathways for their success."
Neville earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge. She earned her Master of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge, with a focus on leadership and professional growth.
