The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB) is happy to announce two new additions coming to Monsignor J.E. Ronan Catholic School in Beeton and Notre Dame Catholic School in Orillia.
"We were excited to learn that the Ministry of Education approved our two capital priority submissions," said Maria Hardie, Board Chair. "Simcoe Muskoka Catholic is a growing school board, and any opportunity to expand our facilities and accommodate student growth is welcome."
Notre Dame Catholic School Addition
- $3,891,807 has been allocated for an additional space to accommodate 184 students.
Monsignor J.E. Ronan Catholic School Addition
- $3,942,655 has been allocated for an additional space to accommodate 184 students.
The Orillia and New Tecumseth communities will see the new additions tentatively opening in 2027.
"Publicly funded Catholic education is thriving in our communities, and we look forward to welcoming new students into our schools so they can foster learning and growth in a faith-filled environment," added Maria Hardie.
