Twenty-five secondary students were sworn into the Canadian Navy on January 25 as part of a first-ever co-op program through the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board.
Recruits will work through basic training, while earning two high school credits, and getting paid.
One of those recruits, Andrew Anandatpa from Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School says he's "always wanted to join the military," adding this opportunity will allow him to explore his options.
