"What an opportunity for us to highlight our local talent, and community, to all of Alberta! For years our teams have traveled extensively on our highways and now is a great opportunity to host the best of the best in Alberta. With spots at the World Championships in Texas on the line we have no doubt this will be an incredible experience for the competitors. We've had teams qualify for the World Championships before and we know what an incredible accomplishment that is for those students and coaches!"- Natasha MacArthur-Poole, Fort McMurray Catholic Schools Superintendent
"We are thrilled to co-host the VEX Robotics Provincials this year, welcoming teams from across Alberta to showcase their teamwork, coding, and problem-solving skills. These competitions highlight the creativity, collaboration, and innovation of our students as they refine skills that will serve them well into the future. A heartfelt thank you to Syncrude for its incredible support as a major sponsor, and to the FMCSD and FMPSD teams for their hard work in bringing this event to life. With FMPSD teams having a proud history of success, including representing us at the World VEX competition in Dallas, we are excited to cheer on all participants. Best of luck - enjoy the competition and have lots of fun!" - Annalee Nutter, Fort McMurray Public School Division Superintendent
