Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of David Fuller as vice-principal at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, commencing the 2025/2026 school year.
Fuller is a passionate educator who is committed to seeing all students grow and develop in their learning. Having worked in middle schools and high schools, he brings a dedication to students, helping them to discover their strengths and pathways as they progress in their school and personal lives.
"We show commitment to our youth by investing in their lived experiences through their education, and I am honoured to serve my city and my school community in a new way in this administrative role," he said.
Fuller will bring a variety of tools to his new role, as he has previously worked to build comprehensive inclusive education programming as the Lethbridge School Division Lead ESL teacher and as a secondee at Alberta Education, where he worked in Inclusive Education Systems and curriculum development.
"I have loved my time working with the staff, students and families at LCI," he said. "I am excited to continue building the best learning experiences for students so they can strive for greatness in all aspects of their lives."
Fuller has been with the Lethbridge School Division since 2008, and has taught at G.S. Lakie Middle School, Wilson Middle School, Chinook High School and Winston Churchill High School, along with LCI. In 2016, he served as Lead ESL Teacher for the Division.
He has spent most of his time working with immigrant and refugee students new to Canada and has spent the last four years as the Learning Support Teacher at LCI where he has enjoyed the challenges of building supports for students as they strive for excellence.
Fuller has a Bachelor of Education in Modern Languages, a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, focusing on French and Spanish, as well as a Master of Education in Literacy in Globalized Canadian Classrooms.
