York Region District School Board is pleased to share the top scholars for the 2024-2025 school year.
"Congratulations to this year's top scholars on their achievements," said Ron Lynn, Chair of the Board. "Their accomplishments reflect the role of staff, families and community members in supporting student success."
"These students are representative of the hard work of the thousands of York Region public students who strive for success every year," said Bill Cober, Director of Education. "Thank you to the educators, administrators and all staff for their role in delivering high-quality programming every day in YRDSB classrooms."
International Baccalaureate
York Region District School Board offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme in five secondary schools. Students enrolled in the IB program follow the curriculum and assessment standards set out by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. In addition to the students listed above, there was one International Baccalaureate student who achieved a 100% average.
