Some people follow a path. Others build it.
This year's Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) Distinguished Catholic Alumni Award goes to Brad Loiselle, a Notre Dame High School graduate whose creativity and drive are changing lives.
From tackling the global water crisis to transforming skills training through the Skills Council of Canada and Arctic Freshwater, Brad's work reflects what it means to live our call to Open Doors, Build Bridges, and Nourish New Beginnings.
And he hasn't forgotten his roots. Brad continues to give back through his partnership with the Elite Skilled Trades Academy at St. Paul High School, helping the next generation of innovators dream big and build a better world.
The Distinguished Catholic Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved outstanding success in their chosen fields while embodying the Catholic values outlined in the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations.
As part of this honour, a $5,000 donation is made in the recipient's name. Brad has chosen to direct this year's donation to his OCSB elementary school, St. Elizabeth School - a heartfelt nod to where his journey began.
