Belinda Hammond as Lead Teacher for Math and Science

Belinda is currently teaching at Ecole Selkirk Junior High, where she has taught Grade 7-9 Mathematics and Science since 2006. She has previous experience teaching senior years Mathematics at Edward Schreyer School in Beausejour.

Currently, Belinda is enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education program at the University of Manitoba. Belinda has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Winnipeg. Prior to earning her undergraduate degrees, Belinda attended two years in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba.

Belinda has demonstrated leadership through her involvement with the Divisional Mathematics Committee, ESJH School Leadership Team, and Focusing on Numeracy Provincial Math Team.

Belinda has an extensive background in Grade 7-9 Mathematics and Science, and has collaborated with Early Years teachers to promote student engagement. She is passionate about providing numeracy and literacy in every classroom to promote student success for all.

The Board congratulates Belinda on her appointment and wishes her success in this challenging new phase of her educational career.
