The Chilliwack Board of Education is pleased to announce that Evelyn Novak has agreed to another five-year term as Superintendent of the Chilliwack School District. "The Board recognizes and appreciates that her strong collaborative leadership style will assist the District in achieving the strategic directions the Board has laid out in its Strategic Plan" says Board Chair, Silvia Dyck. Her focus on leadership development, early intervention and prevention Kindergarten to grade 12, and high quality instruction and assessment practices will help to continue the trend of improved student achievement for School District 33.
"I am very excited about the opportunity to continue to serve as Superintendent of the Chilliwack School District," said Novak. "The strength of this district is its people. We have an amazing staff that are dedicated, innovative and committed to providing the best learning opportunities for students, along with a supportive community that goes above and beyond to partner with and support students. I am honored to continue to serve in my role as Superintendent."
