Wildcats recognized as the undefeated champions for their league

The Board of Trustees hosted the Wildcats Football team from Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus at the December 12, 2018 Board Meeting.  

Players from the Stettler Wildcats were celebrated at the December 12, 2018 Board Meeting.
 

For the 2018 season, the Wildcats were celebrated for being the Central Alberta High School Football Rural Conference League undefeated champions, a honour that has not occurred since 2007.  

Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus Principal and Wildcats Head Coach Norbert Baharally proudly stated, "In my 31 years of coaching football in Stettler, our team has only gone undefeated winning the League Championship one other time in 2007. This accomplishment doesn't happen very often."

The Trustees had many accolades for the students on the team and the successes the Wildcats experienced this year.  Clearview Trustee and Wildcats Offensive Coordinator Guy Neitz provided each of the students with a certificate and a Clearview water bottle from the Board.
