This year, the French Immersion program at École Stonewall Centennial School introduced a new web and iPad application to support numeracy: Netmath. This Manitoba curriculum-aligned program is currently available in both French and English for students in grades 3 through 9. Students enjoy working through the program at their own pace both at school and at home. Fun, interactive math activities engage students as they complete tasks for extra practice or for enrichment. In addition, the program boasts games, puzzles, and brainteasers to challenge students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. Teachers have access to reports on students' progress which helps to guide classroom instruction and clear up confusion or misconceptions that students may have on specific topics.
