Pearson Electrotechnology Centre (PEC) is thrilled to welcome the Interior and Visual Display Program to its state-of-the-art vocational training facility. The new group includes 88 students and 14 teachers.
It took six tractor trailers, 20 movers, and many others behind the scenes to pull off the move in one day. Vocational Centre Director, Marilyn Aon, praised the entire team for pulling off such a large move in one day. "The team (sic) made the impossible happen in record time."
The Interior Decorating and Visual Display program prepares students for a career in the design industry. The 16-month program uses cutting-edge software and is taught by industry professionals. Students have an opportunity to gain industry experience during their internship.
The addition of the program brings the number of programs offered at PEC to seven.
