BorderPass Partners with St. Thomas University to Enhance International Student Support

June 27, 2024

St. Thomas University (STU) has partnered with BorderPass, a leading provider of immigration and student support services, to provide comprehensive end-to-end support for international students, enriching their academic and professional journeys in Canada.

Comprehensive Support for International Applicants and Students

Starting this fall, all international applicants to STU will receive a thorough Immigration Assessment and full study permit support through BorderPass. This robust process ensures applicants are well-prepared and informed ahead of the immigration journey, facilitating a smooth transition to Canada.

Furthermore, all newly admitted and returning international students will receive a complimentary BorderPass subscription, granting them access to a wide range of services designed to support their success in Canada.

"At St. Thomas University, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support to our international students," said Ryan Sullivan, Associate Vice-President (Enrolment). "Our partnership with BorderPass will help us offer seamless immigration assistance, from application through to employment, ensuring our students have the resources they need to succeed."

Innovative Features to Enhance the Student Experience

STU and BorderPass designed the partnership to offer international students a dependable resource for affordable, clear, and practical immigration guidance, protecting them from unjust fees and misleading claims.

The platform's advanced features include measures to maintain the chain-of-trust and help ensure document authenticity, services to help students with living arrangements, and access to extensive support services including legal advice, employment guidance, and much more.

This fulsome approach supports student success from application through to post-graduation.

Expanding Presence in Eastern Canada

This partnership marks BorderPass' expansion into eastern Canada, reflecting a commitment to supporting international students across the country and contributing to the region's educational and economic development.

"BorderPass was built to assist people from around the world who aspire to study and work in Canada, as well as the institutions that support them," said Sally Daub, Co-Founder of BorderPass.

"We are proud to expand our presence on the east coast and to be working with St. Thomas University to support international students throughout their journey."
