The Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Concordia University, McGill University, Université de Montréal and ÉTS (École de technologie supérieure) will host the Conference of the Americas on International Education (CAIE) in Montreal from October 11 to 13, 2017.
Under the theme "Preparing the Leaders and Innovators of Tomorrow: Research and Higher Education, Bridges to Prosperity Across the Americas", this major event will bring together some 600 decision-makers from international governmental, university, college and business organizations. They will discuss how to manage the internationalization of research and higher education from a number of strategic angles: social innovation, government-university-industry interactions, fundamental and applied research, and bridges with college education, as well as the education policies most likely to include all groups of society. This international meeting will be an opportunity to share best practices and deepen international collaboration between all stakeholders in these issues.
