Dr. Craig Monk, provost, pro tempore, MacEwan University, is pleased to announce that Dr. Heather McRae has been re-appointed as Dean, School of Continuing Education for a second five-year term.
McRae was appointed as the school's founding dean in 2014, bringing with her extensive experience in academic administration and leadership in continuing education from the University of Alberta and the University of Victoria.
McRae's appointment follows an in-depth consultation process with the campus community that included a public presentation and feedback from students, faculty and staff.
She is currently president-elect of the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education. McRae's second term as dean will begin on January 1, 2019.
