McMaster University is mourning the passing of Flynn Pavlovsky, a student in the Faculty of Science who was named to the Biology Honour Roll in Fall 2025.
The university extends its sincere condolences to Flynn's family, friends and all those affected by this loss.
"This is a heartbreaking loss for our community," said Sean Van Koughnett, Associate Vice-President, Students.
"Our thoughts are with Flynn's family, friends, and classmates. We know this news will be deeply upsetting across our community, and we encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out for support."
Flags on campus will be lowered to half-mast today, as our community pauses to honour Flynn's memory.
