One of the ways the Sun West Career Development Teacher Team supports interested students is through the Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship Program. This career exploration opportunity consists of 12 challenges that help students learn more about apprenticeship and the skilled trades while in high school. Completion of these challenges provides these benefits:
- Waiver of registration fee.
- No charge for Level 1 technical training tuition.
- 300 hours of trade-time credit.
Students or parents with questions about the Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship Program can contact the Career Development Teacher in their school for more information.
