Mohawk College drone technology was used to help to improve data accuracy of stormwater facilities and adhere to new compliance regulations with improved timing of pond dredging.
The City of Hamilton partnered with the Unmanned and Remote Sensing Innovation Centre (URSIC) at Mohawk College to survey some of its approximately 130 stormwater management facilities to assess sediment accumulation.
