Stéphane Paquette to receive Honorary Diploma in June

Collège Boréal will be conferring an honorary diploma upon Mr. Stéphane (Stef) Paquette during upcoming graduation ceremonies to be held in June 2016. 

Born in Chelmsford, Ontario, Mr. Paquette is a renowned artist much appreciated by the Franco-Ontarian community. He has had a remarkable career in a variety of artistic fields including music, theatre, television and radio. 

Over the course of many years, Mr. Paquette has received numerous awards and prizes recognizing his artistic work, including four awards from the Festival international de la chanson de Granby and a number of Trille or (Golden Trillium Awards) presented by the Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique in Ontario. Stef Paquette also had the honour of representing Canada at the Music without Borders Festival in Egypt, and also performed in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Beyrouth (Lebanon). 

The public has also had the opportunity to appreciate this actor's work in a series called Les Bleus de Ramville presented on TFO. He is also part of the Hard Rock Medical cast, produced by TVO.  

Collège Boréal wishes to congratulate Mr. Paquette for his versatility, his great talent and his generosity in supporting emerging artists. 

Graduation ceremonies will be held from May 17 to June 3rd, 2016, in a number of communities throughout the province. Mr. Paquette will receive his honorary degree during the June 2nd and 3rd ceremonies, in Sudbury.
