By announcing its membership in the Alliance Sport-Études, the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles confirms the importance given to the success and well-being of its students and student-athletes. As of fall 2023, these student-athletes will be able to benefit from enhanced educational support services that will help them succeed in their college studies while excelling in the practice of their sport.

About the Sport-Study Alliance
The Alliance Sport-Études, recognized and subsidized by the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, now includes 48 colleges, Cégep à distance and 11 universities. Its mission is to support the perseverance and success, both academically and athletically, of high-level Quebec athletes pursuing higher education. More than 1,500 student-athletes from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and 50 sports federations are registered.
