CONFEDERATION COLLEGE
TEC Campaign Receives $2 Million from NOHFC

April 10, 2018

We were grateful to participate in an announcement by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines where we received $2 million from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation in support of equipment for our Technology, Education and Collaboration (TEC) Hub. Our TEC Hub will provide the necessary facility for our programming delivery to evolve, while this funding has helped us to launch a fund development campaign. The TEC Campaign' will focus on inspiring innovation through Technology, Education and Collaboration and enable us to fill our new space with the state-of-the-art equipment needed to best facilitate student learning and community access. This will ultimately support the future workforce of our region.

During the announcement, we were also pleased to introduce the Volunteer Leadership Committee, which will help lead the way through the campaign:

  • Emilio Rigato, Co-Chairperson
  • Michael Nitz, Co-Chairperson
  • Colin Bruce
  • Don Campbell
  • Lyle Knudsen
  • Georjann Morriseau
  • Craig Urquhart
