The Board of Education is pleased to advise that they have appointed Mr. Todd Manuel, as Superintendent of Schools, effective August 1, 2020.
Todd is currently the Assistant Superintendent in School District No. 67.He believes his educational experiences gained in two School Districts (School District No. 43 - Coquitlam and most significantly, his eleven years with School District No. 67 Okanagan Skaha) have prepared him well for this leadership role.Prior to his appointment as Assistant Superintendent, he held a dual role for one year, serving as Director of Instruction - Student Support Services and Principal of ConnectEd Learning Centre.Todd began his time in School District No. 67 as a special education teacher and has held school based administrative roles.
Todd has a Master of Education in Educational Practice, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Communications Major and History Minor / Canadian Studies Minor) from Simon Fraser University.He also holds a Family Support Worker Counselling Certificate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Todd is the father to three school aged children and has been married to Stella for 25 years.He wishes to thank them for their support.
