The Southern Alberta Bikers are no strangers to traveling around on two wheels.
Now, student at Lakeview Elementary School will get to experience that same thrill, albeit on a different type of cycle, due to a generous donation from the organization.
On Wednesday (April 2), members of the Southern Alberta Bikers stopped by Lakeview with a cheque for $953.33, to help the school purchase six PlasmaCars. Three will be for inside use and three will be for outside use.
Along with the bikes, the school is establishing a bike lock lending library with some of the funds, to ensure students can safely bring their bikes to school.
