The United Nations proclaimed 2019 the International Year of Indigenous Languages on January 28, 2019 in Paris, France.
The Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) would like to celebrate this important awareness-raising initiative by reflecting on Indigenous Language Learning in LRSD. To do that, we will be releasing an Ojibway Word of the Week (coming soon). These words will be accompanied by an audio recording to help listeners hear and recognize the words.
