During the week of October 7-11, Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School celebrated 20 years since its opening with a series of events. On October 11, 2024, the Bishop Tonnos CSS Family of Schools joined together for a Charity Football Game, raising an impressive $3,800 for the Bishop's selected charities, The Good Shepherd and DeMazenod Door. This fundraiser was a collaborative effort between Bishop Tonnos CSS students and those from its feeder schools. Grade 8 students from each feeder school were welcomed by Bishop Tonnos student leaders for a day of transition activities, which culminated in supporting the BT football teams during the charity and alumni games.
This event brought to life the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations, particularly demonstrating their beliefs in the Catholic Faith community, as well as being collaborative contributors. Students demonstrated their common goal to support those in most need.
