Four students from the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board have been awarded scholarships to St. Xavier University's prestigious music program. Congratulations to Victor Wybenga from St. John Henry Newman Catholic Secondary School and Luca Trigatti, Evan Paul-Ryan, and Julius Aquino from St. Mary Catholic Secondary School on this outstanding achievement.
A special acknowledgment to Mr. Santos, music teacher at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, for organizing and hosting a distinguished panel of music professors and adjudicators from St. Xavier University, NS. This event provided students from three Hamilton Catholic high schools with the opportunity to engage with post-secondary music professionals and showcase their talents.
This accomplishment reflects the dedication and hard work of all four students, as well as the strength of the music programs within the HWCDSB. Their success is a testament to their commitment to excellence in music and the guidance of educators who nurture and develop their talents.
