Monsignor Lee Catholic School is proud to introduce The Monsignor Lee Angels as our new co-curricular name, reflecting our Catholic faith-filled community and rich history.
This rebranding unifies our past and present, closely connecting us to Guardian Angels Catholic Church and School. Guardian Angels Catholic School, originally built in 1879 beside Guardian Angels Church, played a vital role in Catholic education in Orillia before its consolidation with Monsignor Lee in 2012.
Monsignor Lee Catholic School, founded in 1965, was named after Monsignor F.K. Lee, a dedicated pastor at Guardian Angels Church, whose leadership and faith continue to inspire our community today.
Working together, school staff, administration, and parent council chose Monsignor Lee Angel's name to symbolize our shared values of faith, perseverance, and community. This new identity reflects our commitment to academic and co-curricular excellence, ensuring that students grow in respect, reverence, and responsibility.
A new logo will be introduced to complement this rebranding, reinforcing our dedication to teamwork, leadership, and school pride.
We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to celebrating The Monsignor Lee Angels together as a school community.
