On January 15, Chair of the Board and Trustee Bruce Reain addressed the Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) Technology Services Department to congratulate staff on receiving two awards for their work on the staff intranet, Our Dock.
In collaboration with Communications Services, the team was recognized with a BRAVO Award of Excellence from the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education, and a Golden Achievement Award from the National School Public Relations Association.
The Our Dock project took place over a course of two years, and involved Communications Services and Technology Services working together to introduce a new email system and the first internal website for the district. The project was launched in June 2018, and has received good feedback from staff.
