On Friday, November 8th, from 6-9 PM at the Grand River Raceway in Elora, students from both the Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) and the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) will come together to showcase their talents and advocate for the future of housing at the Hands On For Housing Showcase! This event concludes a three-day conference and is a Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington fundraiser.
Why Housing Matters for Youth: Did you know that 43% of young adults aged 20-29 in Canada still live with their parents (StatsCan, 2023)? Housing for youth is in crisis, and now more than ever, their voices need to be heard.
