If it were any other highly touted industry -- like oil and gas, or housing -- governments would be rushing to the rescue. This analysis compares the value to the economy that the post-secondary education system contributes compared to those other valued industries. The findings show that post-secondary education should be treated like the vital sector that it is, deserving of more robust support.
