The members of the Council of Commissioners of the Eastern Shores School Board are proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Denise Simoneau to the position of Director General of the school board.
Ms. Simoneau holds a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in people management in the workplace and a Bachelor's degree in business administration. She has extensive experience at many levels of the educational environment, having worked for over twenty years in Gaspesian schools and held various management positions, notably in human resources.
Ms. Simoneau career path is marked by creative thinking and a keen understanding of the different roles and challenges facing Quebec's public-school system. Her management style is based on rigor, transparency, integrity and a unifying, mobilizing leadership style. Her training, experience and bilingualism make her a Director General whose communication and human relations skills will quickly be recognized and appreciated by employees and partners alike.
