On Monday, September 29, St. Joseph Catholic School's Garden Club spent the afternoon planting new trees with their Chief Custodian, Mr. Dupuis, and Garden Club teacher, Ms. Caruso. St. Joseph Catholic School Principal, Mrs. Principe, entered the school in The Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee's annual tree giveaway, with City of Oshawa, to receive a free tree for the school yard.
Not only did the school receive one tree, but they received ten additional trees!
