Lakeland Catholic School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Jody Seymour as the new Deputy Superintendent of System Excellence, effective May 1, 2025.
With over 25 years of experience in Catholic education, including 17 years in leadership, Jody brings a wealth of expertise in faith formation, academic excellence, and systemic wellness.

Jody has served in various educational roles, including teacher, counselor, Vice Principal, Principal, Division Faith Lead, and Director. Most recently, she served as Director of Student & Staff Formation at Elk Island Catholic Schools, where she led division-wide initiatives in curriculum implementation, faith formation, Indigenous education, and assurance planning. She has also worked closely with Alberta Education and division leadership, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate complex educational landscapes.
Holding multiple degrees, including a Master's in Leadership, Jody is deeply committed to Catholic education, student success, and community engagement. Her visionary leadership and instructional expertise will support Lakeland Catholic in advancing its mission to provide high-quality, faith-centered education that nurtures both academic achievement and spiritual growth.
