Brandon School Division Board of Trustees and Senior Administration are pleased to announce that Mr. Blaine Aston has been named Principal at Riverheights School effective July 1, 2021. He will continue in his current role as Principal at Betty Gibson School until June 30, 2021.
Blaine Aston has 19 years of experience in education and has been Principal of Betty Gibson School for the past six years. His previous leadership roles in the Division include three years as Vice Principal, first at École New Era School and then at Waverly Park School. Mr. Aston also served one year as Numeracy Specialist for the Division.
Mr. Aston's education includes a Master's in Education Administration; Education After Degree; and Bachelor of General Studies.
