Royal Roads University has appointed Dr. Zoë MacLeod as Dean of Partnerships and Professional Learning. In this leadership role, MacLeod will oversee a dynamic portfolio supporting RRU's commitment to applied, market-responsive education through professional learning, domestic and international partnerships, and workforce-focused programming.
MacLeod brings extensive experience in academic leadership, program development, and partnership-based education. Most recently serving as Associate Vice-President, Professional and Continuing Studies, she led a diverse portfolio spanning graduate and professional programs, micro-credentials and alternative credentials, and custom training for public sector, industry, and international partners.
"Dr. MacLeod's appointment reflects Royal Roads' continued focus on innovative, partnership-driven education that responds to evolving learner and workforce needs," said Royal Roads University President and Vice-Chancellor Philip Steenkamp. "Her experience and leadership will support the university's future growth and impact in professional learning and partnerships."
MacLeod holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training from RRU, and a Master of Arts in Human Development and PhD in Organization Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University. She is also a certified executive coach and serves as Director of Education for Royal Roads' ICF-accredited coaching programs.
