Ten graduates from Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) schools have been honoured with the KW Legacy scholarships. This annual program awards scholarships to outstanding young leaders who have significantly contributed to their schools and communities while maintaining academic excellence.
The KW Legacy Award celebrates students who embody the spirit of leadership, perseverance, and community involvement. The recipients demonstrate exceptional dedication in various areas, including school leadership, student leadership, and volunteer work. Their efforts have made a positive impact not only within their schools but also in the broader Kitchener-Waterloo community. Students receive between $5,000 and $50,000 to support their post-secondary education.
