On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, please join me in welcoming Vannessa Ross, CPA, to the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) as the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. The Board of Trustees confirmed her position at a Regular Board Meeting on Jan. 16.
Vannessa comes to us after nine years with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. She has worked in the public sector and has extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Alongside Jamie Rudnicki, Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Vannessa will provide support to the Accounting & Purchasing and Payroll departments. She will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving internal controls and best practices for a division with an operating budget of $225 million.
