The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Lévesque as principal of École publique Lionel-Gauthier in Timmins. She will assume her new position on November 21, 2022.
Ms. Lévesque has been part of the CSPNE educational landscape of the Timmins area since 2000. In fact, over the years, she has demonstrated great leadership qualities in her role as an educational consultant, department head or vice-principal. In fact, Ms. Lévesque has been vice-principal of École publique Lionel-Gauthier since 2014 and has even accepted the position of interim principal for the 2021-2022 school year.
It is clear to the CSPNE that Ms. Lévesque prioritizes the success and well-being of students in addition to focusing on improving academic performance and the Francophone commitment and pride of her school community.
Natalie Lévesque succeeds Nancy Séguin, who has been at École publique Lionel-Gauthier since last August. The CSPNE would like to thank Ms. Séguin for her work over the past few years and wish her every success in her future career.

"Ms. Lévesque has demonstrated great leadership qualities and active involvement in achieving the objectives set for the school and the CSPNE. We wish her all the success she deserves in her new responsibilities."
In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Hearst, Kapuskasing, Iroquois Falls, Timmins, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay and Parry Sound with quality French-language education. Close to 2,100 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
